Minister Brenda Crawford wears
several hats at New Vision. Not only is
she a minister, she is a mother, wife and New Vision’s First
Lady. She ministers along
side her husband, Pastor Ronald Crawford. Brenda
brings to the body of New Vision a quiet yet
intuitive spirit that compliments the
teachings and vision of the ministry.
She, like Paul
in Philippians 1:6, feels “... confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good
work in you will perform it until the day
of Jesus Christ.” She loves the Lord; and she lives and
depends on
God’s faithfulness.
Brenda was
blessed with a career outside of the home for twenty-six years in the communications field.
However, she most enjoyed being used by the
Lord in building up His kingdom. Therefore, in
2000, God called her from the
communications field to His field at New Vision Church. Here, she leads The Jewels Anointed by God
Women’s Ministry, serves as a Discipleship leader, and is a member of the
Presentation Ministry. Minister Brenda Crawford
is also a graduate of Hampton University.

Minister
Kevin V. Montague
is
committed to Making Contemporary Disciples to Confront the Problems of
A Contemporary World, (Matthew 28:19-20). He achieves this through the
discipleship of believers and witnessing to non-believers.
Minister Montague was called and licensed to preach
the Gospel at New Vision Church, in May of 2002. Currently
he serves
as the Church Administrator at New Vision and is responsible for
designing organizational systems to assist the Pastor and Elders in
monitoring more than 25 NV ministries. He also serves as the leader of
New Vision’s Discipleship Ministry and its Christian Resource
Center.
Minister Montague graduated from Columbia Union College with a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Business Administration.
He is a strong believer in the teaching and
studying of God’s Word

Minister Cornelius
Berkeley
comes from a rich heritage of musicians, vocalists and song writers. Right from the start his
musical talent was apparent.
As he developed an interest in playing instruments. He
traveled with Shaw's award winning marching band all over the
country. He graduated with both music and academic honors.
Moving to his next level of education, he participated in
the Gospel Music Workshops, where he
wrote scores and taught original material.
In 1999, the band Gideon, that Minister Berkeley founded and is
a member of recorded their first album and
video at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
In 2003, he received his license at New Vision Church as Minister of
Music. He also founded
the New Vision
Restoration Choir.
Minister Cornelius Berkeley loves the Lord, his
family, fiancé, his band, and
his church family.
He enjoys the company of his circle of
friends; they serve as his accountability partners in his walk of faith.

Minister Alexander Dabney
“The
Lord has called me to assist wherever I am in making sure that sound doctrine is taught and
encouraged. It is imperative for me to spread the gospel through the preached Word and
promoting the study and adherence to the
teachings of the Bible,” says
Minister Alex Dabney.
In 1995, Minister Dabney
received his license to preach and was ordained
to the Gospel Ministry in 1997 at Jerusalem
Baptist Church, where he also served
as Deacon and Youth Minister.
Minister
Dabney is very faithful when it comes to studying the Word of God. Over the years, he has
developed a great love for the Scriptures.
Alex established an In
His Presence Bible study as a direct result of his
conviction about knowing and
understanding God’s Word. The purpose of the study group was
to provide an intimate setting
where people could search the Scriptures and become equipped to
‘rightly divide the Word of
Truth”.
Minister
Dabney's walk in ministry keeps him
involved. He heads up New Vision’s 7:30 a.m.,
“Taking Up the
Gauntlet” Bible study.
In this class, he
is teaching people to ‘rightly divide the word of
truth”, so that
they too can profess with conviction, knowledge and understanding their
faith and belief in Jesus
Christ as Lord and Savior.

Minister Jonathan Mickles. He leads
our NV’s Armor Bearers Ministry.
He is currently pursuing
a Master’s of Divinity with a concentration in Christian
Thought.
The program’s focus is to reach people with the gospel and to
strengthen believers by
helping them know the reasons for their faith.
With this added knowledge, Minister Mickles
believes God will launch him
to his next mission field.
Jonathan’s life verse is Philippians 3; that speaks to not
having confidence in
flesh but in Jesus Christ as we press towards the goal. His call to
ministry was through
Jeremiah 20:8-9, “Whenever I speak, I
cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the LORD
has brought me insult and reproach all day long. 9 But if I say, "I
will not mention him or speak any more in his name," his word is in my
heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it
in; indeed, I cannot.
Jonathan, like Jeremiah, got
discouraged with the responsibilities of
his calling. “As a young boy, I knew that I was going to be
in some kind of ministry.
Imagine my frustration when it was not realized
in the mode or time frame that I planned. So,
I said, ‘It’s ok. I don’t have to do it all; I’m fine
just coming to church and helping here and there. But, that was not enough.”
Fortunately for Jonathan and
for NV, he realized that God’s call could not be ignored and he’s
been an active part of NV ever since.
